Corrosion Monitoring and Testing
Industrial plants demand safe, reliable and well controlled operational conditions. Equipment must be corrosion resistant and be carefully monitored to remain so. Materials must resist highly corrosive fumes, solutions and cleaning agents and provide an adequate service life in less than ideal environments.

SGS Canada has extensive experience assessing and minimizing failure in such harsh operating environments. We have instituted maintenance programs for many industrial clients by controlling and monitoring for stress corrosion, cracking, pitting, intergranular corrosion and high temperature oxidation either visually or by non-destructive testing.  Substandard parts and aging components are removed and sources of corrosion are minimized, thus keeping plants operating reliably and on schedule.
